SERPENT – Some say the ‘serpent’ motif is a talisman against snakebite which is also associated with the ‘tree of life’ as a guardian.

HAND motif constitutes various meanings: it symbolizes the hand of the creator and: thus, echoes with divine creation. It provides protection and refers to worship.

HANDS on WAIST – Women had a crucial role in production and proliferation in the agrarian settlements; thus, the mother goddess was an essential figure symbolizing creation and fertility. The ‘Hands-on Waist’ motif reflects the mother goddess, fertility, and abundance.
EYE – The eye can transfer good intentions as well as the bad. They called the bad intentions the evil eye that causes damage, and they believed that the eye itself can be used as protection.
